
Ingredients
- 1 large orange, zest only
- 1 lime, zest only
- 1/2 tsp ground thyme
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 tsp granulated garlic
- 1 tsp salt
- White pepper, to taste
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1 cup lemon-lime soda
- 2 lb chicken tenders
- 8 wooden skewers
Directions
- Make marinade: In a medium mixing bowl, combine orange zest, lime zest, thyme, olive oil, granulated garlic, salt, white pepper, orange juice, and soda.
- Add chicken and coat completely with marinade. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour. Soak wooden skewers in water 20–30 minutes.
- Make kebabs: Thread chicken onto skewers using a weaving motion. Drizzle any remaining marinade over chicken.
- Heat grill to medium. Grill chicken ~3 minutes per side, or until the center reaches 170°F.
- Remove from grill and serve immediately.
